FADO brand

The history of the FADO brand is a story where a dream turns into reality thanks to tireless work, constant development and a clearly defined vision.

It dates back to the 2000s, when an ambitious Ukrainian entrepreneur with more than 10 years of experience in sales and engineering opened several sanitary ware outlets in Kyiv.

The Ukrainian market demanded innovative solutions in the field of engineering plumbing that could serve for years. The lack of such solutions in the existing offerings, in-depth market knowledge and practical installation experience became the basis for creating a new brand.

The Ukrainian entrepreneur sought inspiration for his idea in Italy, a country that sets global trends in plumbing engineering. Communication with Italian engineers and designers, admiration for their experience and developments became the key to future success. This allowed us to define the main goal of the business: to provide reliable European-level sanitary ware for the Ukrainian consumer.

In 2009, the FADO brand was registered in Italy, and the first lines of valves were developed there. The same year, an office was opened in Kyiv, and the first 24 FADO products appeared on the domestic market.

This was just the beginning of a great journey - a journey where each new product has become a proof of commitment to quality and innovation. Thanks to strategic partnerships with the best engineers in Europe, FADO today is a brand that not only meets customer needs, but also sets new standards for engineering plumbing in Ukraine and beyond.

2009

The first 24 products were introduced to the Ukrainian market

2010

The assortment is represented by the FADO Classic line of valves, hoses and adapters, the first participation in the Aquatherm exhibition, 39 FADO items are presented in the Epicenter retail chain

2011

New line of FADO New valves, 12 positions of radiator taps

2012

The lines have been created: FADO PPR - system of polypropylene fittings (168 positions), FADO Press, safety fittings

2013

The FADO Compress line was created

2015

Lines have been created: FADO Slice, FADO Modern, and a branch in Kazakhstan

2016

An automated addressable storage warehouse was created

2017

The FADO Smart House line - a smart home system - has been created

2021

FADO R&D center opened, where the assortment is tested for compliance with standards, quality control, and concepts and unique products are developed

2022

The line of valves was expanded to include servo-driven ball valves. A machine for measuring the rotational force of the crane handle was installed in the R&D Center, and a thickness gauge was purchased. Basalt pipes were added to the line of polypropylene pipes.

2023

Participation in the largest specialized exhibition AQUATHERM KYIV. FADO TM was restyled, the corporate identity was updated, and a large-scale communication campaign "For Years" was launched.
FADO PROFI CLUB, a professional community for nail technicians, was launched. Cooperation with the EdUP educational project "Public-Private Partnership for Improving Vocational Education in Ukraine" and regular training for students of vocational schools were launched.
Participation in the Masters League Summit.
The first product of the climate systems division, the FADO heat pump, was introduced to the market.

2024

The company's 15th anniversary in the engineering plumbing market.
Comprehensive free training for craftsmen, customers, and partners on the selection and installation of FADO heat pumps has been launched.
Launch of a social project to support the psychological health of Ukrainians, ANIMA.
