HAPPY CONSTITUTION DAY OF UKRAINE!

"The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on behalf of the Ukrainian people - citizens of Ukraine of all nationalities,

expressing the sovereign will of the people,

based on the centuries-long history of Ukrainian statehood and on the basis of the right to self-determination exercised by the Ukrainian nation, the entire Ukrainian people,

ensuring human rights and freedoms and decent living conditions,

taking care of strengthening civil harmony on the land of Ukraine and reaffirming the European identity of the Ukrainian people and the irreversibility of Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic course,

striving to develop and strengthen a democratic, social, and legal state,

realizing responsibility to God, their own conscience, previous, present and future generations,

guided by The Act of Declaration of Independence of Ukraine of August 24, 1991approved on December 1, 1991 by popular vote,adopts this Constitution - the Basic Law of Ukraine."

Today, as in past centuries, the Ukrainian people are forced to defend these principles with blood!

We bow our heads to our defenders!

We believe in Victory and Peace!
