Buffer tanks are used as accumulators that store thermal energy produced by a heat generation source that does not have a constant mode of operation, which is then transferred to the central heating system.
The buffer vessel is a welded, cylindrical, vertical tank made of high quality stainless steel, uncoated internally, insulated externally and additionally protected by a casing. The connections to the heat source and the receiver are arranged vertically, serving as inlet or outlet ports.
The tanks are also equipped with additional connections for connecting a sensor or thermometer and a hot water drain connection at the bottom of the tank.
